Whitworth Foundation
FOR NEARLY 50 YEARS THE PURPOSE OF THE WHITWORTH FOUNDATION HAS BEEN TO SUPPORT WHITWORTH UNIVERSITY AND ITS COMMITMENT TO THE INTEGRATION OF FAITH AND LEARNING. INDIVIDUALS CONTRIBUTE THEIR GIFTS TO ESTABLISH PLANNED-GIFT ARRANGEMENTS SUCH AS CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITIES AND CHARITABLE REMAINDER TRUSTS. THESE GIFTS PROVIDE TAX SAVINGS AND REGULAR INCOME TO DONORS AND THEIR BENEFICIARIES FOR A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME, AFTER WHICH THE REMAINDER OF THOSE GIFTS ARE TRANSFERRED TO THE WHITWORTH UNIVERSITY FUND TO SUPPORT THE UNIVERSITY IN PERPETUITY.
